Welcome to the 2007 William Shatner Invitational Celebrity Death Pool. Entries can no longer be accepted for this year, but feel free to wager amongst yourselves on who will take home the big prize!
Here are the rules:
- Submit the names of up to 20 celebrities.
- All valid submissions must be submitted before the celebrity's death or January 31, 2007, whichever comes first.
- Players will receive one point for each celebrity who dies, plus one bonus point if no one else has picked that celebrity.
- Celebrities are famous people who exist in real life.
- Whoever has the most points at the end of 2007 will receive a prize of my choosing.
- In case of a tie, the winner by decided by the number of correct celebrities picked. If there is still a tie, the winner will be decided by random drawing.
Please note that William Shatner is not dead, nor is this contest promoting his death. I just happened to hear a fun song he wrote about how everyone is going to die. He is a celebrity, though, so you are welcome to choose him.
